After a day of getting adjusted there are lots of things about this ship that I would change. NCL cabins are notoriously smaller than the other lines but this one didn’t appear so because of it’s curvy lines…but it is and the layout with the bathroom and separate shower by the front door and being plexiglass is a very awkward situation. There is another weird thing. Couldn’t figure out how to turn the lights on in the cabin..you see switches but nothing works. There is a slot by the front door you have to insert you key card and leave it there…if you take it out, the lights go off. Who designed this stuff anyway? Just very strange things here and there.. They have lots of bathrooms in and around the public areas though and especially near the pool which is nice. The elevators are always crowded and half the time don’t even stop. Everyone is complaining about that. You would have thought after the first day that would not be the case any longer but it is as bad as it was the day we got on. It is difficult when the ship has 17 actual decks with either passenger cabins or public space. It is a very pretty ship but I’m not sure it flows very well. The one area that does it the buffet? Very weird because on other ships there is always a line…here not so and I haven’t figured out why yet.
The cabin steward is not very attentive and we have yet to get extra towels and we are lucky if he replaces the ones used.
