An Epic Day
NCL has a great check in system and we had our keys and were in the waiting room within 10 minutes. We were in the first group to board the ship at 11:20. We headed to register the kids at the Recess kids areas which is very nice and then ate and the kids put their bathing suits on and hit the water slides. Chris was in 7th heaven and said this is the “best cruise ever” but then he says that every cruise and we were also still in Miami. They do love the fact that this ship has fresh water pools though and they stayed in there until it was time to go to the cabin for the lifeboat/muster drill at 3:30 It is nice that we do not have to drag the life jackets with us anymore. We were the first out of the port followed by the Carnival Destiny and the Carnival Liberty and we did not see the two Celebrity ships leave but they were sailing with us last night as we could see the “X” on one of them as we were eating dinner in Le Bistro. The staff in here is very accommodating to Lindsay who has a peanut allergy so they went out of their way to help and get her something she liked. The fondue was not as good as I remember it Debbie. Paige has got a cold and wasn’t feeling great and we were all tired (except Chris who needs an on and off switch) and he wanted to go to the kids area so Teresa took him and Lindsay and I came back to the cabin and went to sleep. It is very windy and the ship is rocking a lot!
