OMG..this wind will never give up. Everything you touch on this ship right now from your own balcony to everything on lido in covered in white sea salt from the spray. Strangely it was this way when we did the Carnival Splendor in 2008. The wind has something to do with the jet stream and ocean currents I suppose at this time of year. Once we passed Puerto Rico as was the same last time, things have settled down. But it is now almost 9 PM and bad winds and rough seas prevailed most of today. We went to breakfast in the dining room and then the kids did the Wii Wall this morning then we came back and changed into bathing suits and went to the pool but not before the played family dodge ball. They also did the Spiderweb thingy. Too bad there is nothing for kids to do here huh? The girls wanted to do the Bungy thingy on the Sports Deck (17) at 3 PM it opened. After several flights of stairs and waiting in line for 30 minutes they shut it down because of the wind and a child almost got blown into the backboard so they shut it down. Paige was more upset than Lindsay but it didn’t take an idiot to know that it has been too windy to operate this until we get to port…duh. The kids always went to "Family Lego Building" too. We needed to come back to get showered for our Cirque Dreams show tonight as our reservations were at 5:30. Chris spilled his drink all over himself and me but he handled it well after the initial shock and we enjoyed the show and the performers were amazing. They parade through the theater and the kids got to high 5 them so they were excited about doing that. Tonight after the show Paige wanted to go to Recess and Chris and Lindsay, Teresa and I went to the Irish bar O’Sheehans and Chris and Lindsay played air hockey while Teresa and I had a beer. I came back to the cabin to get ready for tomorrow…yeah St. Maarten or we should say land ho! We are to meet our excursion at 8:20 on the pier.
